Yvonne Maria Conde
TEWKSBURY Yvonne Maria (Lobao) Conde, 62, of Tewksbury, died Thursday, October 14, 2010, at her home with her beloved family by her side. She was the wife of Helio B. Conde, with whom they celebrated their Thirty Sixth Wedding Anniversary last April.
Born August 7, 1948, in Graciosa, Acores, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Manuel A. and the late Felismina (Tomasia) Lobao and was educated in Graciosa and Faial before coming to the United States in 1967. She settled in Lowell with her family, and was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church. For the past twenty years, she made her home in Tewksbury.
Yvonne was a member of the Holy Ghost Society and the Sete Marias, and was also a Boy Scout Leader. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her hobbies included reading, knitting, and crocheting, and she also enjoyed day trips to the Shore and traveling.
She worked in the electronics manufacturing field with High Tech Machinists Inc., in Chelmsford, until her retirement.
In addition to her loving husband, Helio, she is survived by her two sons, Chris Conde and his wife, Becky, of Chelmsford, and Jason Conde and his wife, Michele, of Haverhill; two grandchildren, Jayden Conde of Haverhill, and Carina Conde of Chelmsford; her sister, Elsa Oliveira and her husband, George, of Lowell; her brother in law, Joseph Conde and his wife, Denise, of Arlington; her Godson, David Oliveira and his wife, Gretchen, of Washington, DC, and their daughter, Fia Oliveira; her niece, Kitzie Zeidan and her husband, Thomas, of Lowell, and their son Zavier Zeidan; her nephews, Jay Conde and his son, Christopher, of Arlington, and Richard Conde and his wife, Jennifer, of Arlington, and their children, Morgan and T.J. She is also survived by her mother in law, Dolores Conde of Arlington as well as her large extended family throughout the United States and the Azores.
She was also the daughter in law of the late Claudino Conde.
