Dennis C. Wolterding
GOFFSTOWN NH Dennis C. Wolterding, 66, of Goffstown, NH, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He was the life partner of Charlene Urbanek.
Born October 28, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Eric J. and the late Florence ( Gantt) Wolterding, and was educated in the Brooklyn New York School system.
Dennis relocated to Massachusetts in 1970 and then moved to New Hampshire in 1987, making his home in Hookset before residing in Goffstown. All of his adult life, he worked in the injection molding business, retiring as maintenance supervisor from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation in January of 2008.
When he wasn’t spending time with his family, he enjoyed fixing computers and dabbling in technology. He also enjoyed gardening and cooking, and all who came in contact with him will remember him for his good sense of humor.
In addition to Charlene, his partner and best friend, he is survived by his children, Dennis D. Wolterding of Virginia, Denny V. Wolterding of Syracuse, NY, Denene Hinkson of New York City, Sherry Bunyan of New York City, NY, Yvonne Harris of Virginia, and Kayla (Urbanek) Page of Center Barnstead, NH; his 15 grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Wolterding and Gerald Wolterding both of Lowell; two sisters, Barbara Dawson of Arizona and Florence ‘Fippie’ Dixon of California; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
He was also the brother of the late Eric J. Wolterding Jr.
