William Edward ‘Wild Bill’ Willis
NASHUA, NH William Edward ‘Wild Bill’ Willis, 80, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Kindred Rehabilitation Center in Nashua after a brief illness. He was the widower of the late Eileen (Dow) Willis who passed away in 2008.
A son of the late Albert G. and the late Fern Willis, he was born June 8, 1935, in Jefferson, Missouri and was educated in Kansas City, Missouri.
Mr. Willis served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and served twenty years with the National Guard. After his honorable discharge, he made his home in Billerica where he worked for the Purity Supreme Warehouse until his retirement. Bill loved motorcycles and especially loved riding his bike. He was also a CB radio hobbit.
He is survived by his brother and sister in law, Anthony and Jean Bando of Medford, and their children, Anthony Bando Jr. of Maine, Kathy Bates of Medford, Joan Kwiatkowski of Medford, and Chucky Bando of Wakefield; his goddaughter, Amanda Gomes; as well as everyone at Pete’s Garage and his friends.
Mr. Willis was predeceased by his wife, Eileen (Dow) Willis, and his three children, Billy, Doreen, and Shawn.
