William J. ‘Bill’ Swieneski
DRACUT William J. ‘Bill’ Swieneski, 68, of Dracut, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a son of the late Julius W. and the late Helen D. (Avila) Swieneski.
Born November 8, 1947, in Lowell, he was educated in the local schools including Lowell High School. He was an avid sports fan and loved going to the race track and watching the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox, and the Boston Bruins. He enjoyed spending time with family and going to the Beach. He was also a member of the DLKV.
Bill learned roofing as a young boy and made roofing his life work. He had also worked for Raytheon Corporation for a brief time. He was a member of St. Anthony Parish where he had served as an altar boy in his younger days.
He is survived by his children, Dorothy D. Accomando and her husband, Mark Accomando Jr. of Dedham and Sheila A. Chappell of Lowell; his grandson, Edward S. Dufresne of Dedham; his brother, David P. Swieneski of Dracut, his God daughter, Rachel A. Swieneski of Dracut; as well as many nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and grand nephews along with many close friends including Tony Loureiro and Billy Teague.

ON FRIDAY, HIS FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 8 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816.
HIS FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT ST. ANTHONY CHURCH, 893 CENTRAL ST., LOWELL AT 9 A.M..
