William J. Benoit
LOWELL William J. Benoit, 77, of Lowell, died after a brief illness Monday, July 11, 2011 at Fairhaven Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Sandra P. (Priori) Benoit who passed away January 3, 2011. They would have celebrated their fiftieth anniversary this past May.
Born January 21, 1934, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Dominic Benoit, and the late Gertrude (Jackson) Benoit, and attended the local schools.
He resided in Lowell, and was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church. He was employed as a Printers Assistant for over forty years for Raytheon. He enjoyed collecting antiques, reading, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by a son, William A. Benoit of Lowell; two brothers, Paul Benoit of Quincy, and Leo Benoit and his wife, Raina and family of Stoughton; a sister, Benita (Benoit) Christian and her husband, Ozzie and family of Hudson, NH; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
