Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother
LOWELL Virginia J. (Convery) Wayne, 70, of Lowell, died May 19, 2012, after a long illness with her family by her side. She spent the last year home with her loving family under hospice care. She was born April 22, 1942, a daughter of the late Frederick and the late Catherine (Bell) Convery, and was educated in the local schools.
Virginia made her lifelong home in Lowell, and was a doting mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and also enjoyed watching television, especially Game of Thrones.
She is survived by her sons, Donald P. Maguire, David J. Maguire, James M. Maguire, and John P. Maguire all of Lowell; her daughters Virginia J. Maguire and Elizabeth K. Valkavitch and her husband, Michael, both of Lowell; her step daughter, Maureen A. Wayne-Ayotte of Manchester, NH; her twelve grandchildren, David maguire Jr., James Maguire Jr., Michael Valkavitch Jr., Katie Maguire, Patrick Maguire, Amanda Maguire, Timothy Maguire, Meaghan Valkavitch, Meghan Maguire, Connor Maguire, Makaillie Maguire, and Shawn Maguire; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth Maguire and Emma Maguire; and many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
She is predeceased by her brother, Frederick Convery, brother in law, Thomas Gangi, and her husbands, Donald Maguire and John A. Wayne.
