Victor Tavares Nicolau
LOWELL Victor Tavares Nicolau, 19, of Lowell, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Saints Medical Center. He was a son of Alfredo Nicolau of Lowell and Maria (Tavares) Nicolau of Lowell.
Born April 13, 1992, in Lowell, he grew up and was educated in the local schools, graduating from the Greater Lowell Technical High School in 2010.
Victor made his home in Lowell, and enjoyed being with his family, spending time with his friends, and playing basketball. He had worked for Market Basket in Chelmsford at the Delicatessen Counter for five years, and more recently worked for United Parcel Service in Billerica.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Elio Nicolau and Vincent Nicolau both of Lowell; his sister, Emily Nicolau of Lowell; his God Parents, Joao Tavares and his wife, Maria Tavares, of Lowell; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
