Victor M. ‘Shorty’ Vazquez
LOWELL Victor M. ‘Shorty’ Vazquez, 41, of Lowell, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Town and Country Nursing Home after a lengthy illness after a liver transplant earlier this year. He was a beloved son of Clara Pizarro of Lowell and the late Rafael Vazquez.
Born June 13, 1975, in Catano, Puerto Rico, he grew up and was educated in New York. At the age of eleven, he moved with his family to Lowell, where he where he finished his schooling. He then attended Middlesex Community College. He had worked as a construction laborer before illness forced his retirement.
Shorty will be remembered as a very funny guy. He was happy go lucky and enjoyed comedy and comedians. He loved to do impressions of characters, and he always had a smile on his face and brought a smile to those around him. In addition, he enjoyed dancing and fishing.
Besides his mother, Clara Pizarro of Lowell, he is survived by his children, Victor Gould and Larmarcus Vazquez; his sisters, Sonia Vazquez, Zulma Vazquez, Rose Figueroa and her husband, J. Dalton Young, and Jenny Vazquez; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was also predeceased by his sister Sor A. Rodriguez

HIS FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD TUESDAY AT 11 A.M. AT THE FUNERAL HOME. BURIAL IN THE WESTLAWN CEMETERY.
