Valmore Robert 'Val' Tessier
Beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather

LOWELL Valmore Robert 'Val' Tessier, 67, of Lowell, formally of Goward Place, joined his family in heaven, Monday, October 7, 2013 at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus.
Born February 11, 1946, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Valmore A. 'Jigger' Tessier and the late Beatrice F. (Brodeur) Tessier, and attended the local schools.
He resided in Lower Belvidere and he was employed as a Union Laborer for Local 429 where he worked in construction his entire life. Val loved and owned many horses during his life, he even won a few small purses. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and Patriots fan. He was proud of his Indian Hertiage being Algonquin.
Val is survived by a son, Robert Stonis of Lowell; a daughter, Donna Arnella of Palm Bay, FL; and his six sisters, Claire Gauthier and her husband, Richard of Husdon, NH, Lorraine Anderson and her husband, John of Dracut, Pauline Petropoulos of Bradenton, FL, Donna Gomez and her husband, Frank of Lowell, Gloria Rudy and her husband, Dennis of Dracut, and Ruth Brewer and her husband, Dennis of Lowell. He is also survived by his three grandchildren and six great grandchildren; his best friends, Richard Popik, Brenda Bernat and Bill McLean; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends, and neighbors.
He was also the brother of the late Priscilla Szelog; and brother in law of the late Henry Szelog and the late James Petropoulos, his late grand niece Gloria Gauthier late grand nephew Joseph Ramsay.
Val's family would like to thank Dr. Sebastian G. Sepulveda and all the doctors and nurses at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus.
