Timothy B. "Timmy" Poitras
Lifelong Lowell Resident
LOWELL Timmy Poitras, 50, of Lowell, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Saints Medical Center after, complications from a stroke he suffered in October. He was the former husband of Marygayle Crocker.
Born May 30, 1959, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Wilfred, and the late Delores L. (Dickey) Poitras, and attended the local schools.
He resided in the Pawtucketville area and was a member of the DLKV, Passe Tempse, and the Centralville Social Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by a daughter, Nicole Poitras of Boston; seven siblings, Donna Mulrooney and her husband, John of Tyngsboro, Fred Pavelka and his wife, Rose of Dracut, Valerie Wiltshire and her husband, Russell of Billerica, Kim Bernier and her husband, Donald of Tyngsboro, Wilfred Poitras and his wife, Maureen of Lowell, and John Poitras and his wife, Jean of Dracut; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
He was also the brother of the late Gary Pavelka.
