Helen M. Texeira
LOWELL Helen M. (Wyman) Texeira, 79, of Lowell, died Sunday, Feb 17, 2008 at Lowell General Hospital after a very brief illness. She was the widow of the late John Texeira.
A daughter of the late William F. and the late Hazel E. (Whitley) Wyman, she was born June 2, 1928, in Lowell, and educated in the local schools.
She was a lifelong Lowell resident, and was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church. Helen enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods, and enjoyed crocheting and bingo. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her large family.
She is survived by 7 children, John Texeira and his wife, Mary (Cadeiro), of Tyngsboro, David Texeira and his wife, Penny, of Lowell, Patricia J. Dutily and her husband, Stephen, of Lowell, Mary Lou Briand and her husband, Bruce, of Hudson, NH, Shirley L. Texeira of Lowell, Susan G. Ponte and her husband, John, of Lowell, and Carol A. Pereira of Lowell; over 20 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Mildred D. Godin of Danbury, CT, and Shirley Romano and her husband, Thomas, of Andover; and her very close friend, Roland Beauschene of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Phyllis A. Texeira, the late Roland Texeira, and the late Judy A. Texeira, and sister of the late Walter E. Mills the late William F. Wyman, the late Betty Bole, the late May Beaulieu.
