Teresa Ann Ozella
DRACUT Teresa Ann (DeMichelis) Ozella, 77, of Dracut, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Radius Northwood Health Care Center after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Richard Ozella Sr., with whom she celebrated their Fifty Sixth Wedding Anniversary this year.
A daughter of the late Modesto and the late Anni (Tennerini) DeMichelis, she was born June 12, 1934, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools, graduating from Lowell High School.
Mrs. Ozella was a longtime Lowell resident before making her home in Dracut, and was a member of the former Sacred Heart Parish, and a communicant of Holy Family Parish. She had worked for Prince Macaroni before working as a store clerk at the Hallmark store on Plain Street for many years.
Family gatherings and spending time with family was her favorite pasttime. She also enjoyed reading her prayers, taking walks and bingo.
In addition to her loving husband, Richard, she is survived by her sons, Richard M. Ozella Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Merrimack, NH, Jeffrey S. Ozella and his wife, Donna, of Pelham, NH, Glenn P. Ozella of Lowell, and Bruce T. Ozella and his wife, Debra, of Lowell; eight grandchildren, Cassandra (Ozella) Rush and her husband, James, Matthew Ozella and his wife, Jenni, Brendan Ozella, Jamie Ozella, and Cody Ozella, Nicole Kukulski, Ashley Azevedo, and Bobby Kukulski; seven great grandchildren, her sisters, Josephine Feehan of Lowell, Margaret Marriott of Lowell, and Chester DeMichelis and several nieces and nephews.
She was also a sister of the late Antoniette DeBerardinis, the late Mary Brunelle and the late Lucy Kleomia.
