Sue Taing ‘Siv Khan’ Yin
LOWELL Sue Taing ‘Siv Khan’ Yin, 65, of Lowell, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus. She was the beloved wife of Khin Sann Yin with whom she shared 37 years of marriage.
She was born on March 12, 1950 in Battambang, Cambodia and was a daughter of the late Suy Taing and the late Kingmann (Chao) Taing, she was educated in Cambodia. In July of 1980, she immigrated to the United States with her husband, Khin Sann. She also took her two nephews, David and Kong Taing, to America with her, to provide them with a better life and future. Shortly after, she moved to Lowell, where she has lived for the past 35 years.
Together with her husband, Khin Sann, she owned and operated New Koh Kong Restaurant in Lowell for 12 years.Sue enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Khin Sann, she is survived by two children, Lee L. Yin and his fiance, Leah Danh of Lowell, and Sueann Y. Rasavong and her husband, Bobby of Lowell; and two grandchildren, Kaileah Yin and Sophia Rasavong, both of Lowell. She was also expecting her first grandson in March. She is also survived by her siblings, Hing Taing of Lowell and Lang Taing of Lowell
Sue was also a sister of the late Leang Sim Taing who passed away in 2002.

ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 29, 2016, CALLING HOURS WILL BEGIN AT 1 P.M. AT GLORY BUDDHIST TEMPLE, 24 CAMBRIDGE STREET, LOWELL, MA.
ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 30, 2016, HER FUNERAL CEREMONY WILL TAKE PLACE AT 9 A.M AT GLORY BUDDHIST TEMPLE, 24 CAMBRIDGE STREET, LOWELL. A PROCESSION WILL FOLLOW TO WESTLAWN II CEMETERY ON BOSTON ROAD IN LOWELL.
