Steven Harrington ‘Stevie’ Carey
CHELMSFORD Steven H. "Stevie" Carey of Chelmsford, died after a brief illness on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Lowell General Hospital.
A son of Paul and Barbara (Pyne) Carey of Derry, New Hampshire, Stevie was born November 27, 1969. He attended the Merrimack Special Education Collaborative.
Stevie most enjoyed summer vacations at Silver Lake, trips to Disney World, and holiday celebrations with family and friends.
Besides his parents, Stevie is survived by his sisters Melissa Carey of Watertown and Julie Carey of Portland, Maine; and his grandparents John and Marilyn Pyne of Summerfield FL; and Paul and Jane Carey of Plymouth. In addition, he will be missed by aunts and uncles Ginny and John Noyes of Methuen, Martha and Chris Woodward of Chelmsford, Jack and Susan Pyne of Effingham NH, Marci and Ed Jordan of Richmond VA, Laina Pyne of Tamworth NH, and William Carey of Hawaii; and many cousins and friends.
A private service for family is planned for a later date.
A memorial fund has been established and contributions can be made to the "Stevie Fund" at MSEC, Adult Services, 40 Linnell Circle, Billerica MA 01821.
