Stephanie M. Carignan
Poinciana, Florida - Stephanie M. (Gazda) Carignan, 87, of Poinciana, Florida, died Friday, January 21, 2011, at Keystone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. She was the widow of the late Joseph S. Carignan.
A daughter of the late John and the late Mary (Patla) Gazda, she was born June 30, 1923, in Lowell, and educated in the local schools.
She made her home in Lowell, and was a communicant of Holy Trinity Polish Church before residing in Florida. She worked as an assembler for the former Wang Laboratories in Tewksbury for twenty years before her retirement. A very devoted and loving mother and grandmother, she cherished spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Lillian M. Patsourakos and her husband, Charles, of Poinciana, FL; her grandchildren, Peter C. Patsourakos of Florida, and Stephanie M. Patsourakos of Massachusetts; Deena M. Patsourakos of Florida; her sisters, Sophie Thibeault and Rose Maille and her husband, Raymond, all of Massachusetts; and many nieces and nephews.
