Sr. Mary Angelina Manzi, O.S.C.
LOWELL Sr. Mary Angelina Manzi, O.S.C., 90, died, Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home in Lawrence.
A daughter of the late Michael and Angelina (Grillo) Manzi, she was born October 27, 1922 in Lawrence.
Sister Mary Angelina entered Religious Life on September 8, 1964 and made her Final Profession of Vows on September 8, 1972.
Her survivors include her siblings, Anna (Manzi) Tulley of Methuen, Michael Manzi and his wife, Elizabeth of Methuen, and Angelina (Manzi) Hyatt of Andover; her cousins in Italy whom she visited before she entered the convent; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers Vincent, William, and Albert Manzi, and her sisters, Ida Giarrusso, Flora Manzi, Lina Giarrusso, and Mary Stewart.
SISTER MARY ANGELINA MANZI WILL LIE IN STATE ON TUESDAY, APRIL 2, AT THE MONASTERY OF ST. CLARE, 445 RIVER RD., ANDOVER, FROM 3 UNTIL 7 P.M. WITH THE ROSARY BEING SAID AT 4 P.M.
