ANDOVER Sr. Mary Anthony Burke, O.S.C., 89, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home in Lawrence, in the Sixty Second year of her Profession.
A daughter of the late Pierre and the late Catherine (Smith) Burke, she was born May 7, 1923, in St. John’s Newfoundland, Canada.
Sister Mary Anthony entered Religious Life on September 24, 1948, and took her Solemn Profession of Vows on July 2, 1956.
Her survivors include her brother, Rev. Michael M. Burke of Corpus Christi, TX as well as her religious family at the Monastery of St. Clare in Andover.
