Sherrel A. Macaulay
LOWELL Sherrel A. (Lepper) Macaulay, of Lowell, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at High Pointe Hospice House.
A daughter of the late Francis P. Lepper and the late Margaret Mary (Tanguay) Lepper, she was born November 19, 1951 in Chelsea. She grew up in Lowell and was educated in the local schools, graduating from Lowell High School, Class of 1969. She then attended Northern Essex Community College.
She was employed by the Internal Revenue Service in Andover as a group leader for twenty three years before retiring in 2018. She was an avid sports fan and loved watching baseball. When her children were young, she enjoyed attending their games and helping out at the concession stand at Callery Park
Her survivors include her son, Patrick Macaulay of Lowell; her daughter, Kathleen Macaulay of Lowell; her sister, Deborah Lepper and her partner, Diane Kusky of Frederick, MD; her cousins, Sheila Boston and her husband, Cliff, of Lowell, Michelle Colton and her husband, David, of Lowell, and Marlene Hillman and her husband, David, of Chelmsford; her lifelong dear friends, Jackie Mills and her husband, Dennis, of Lowell; as well as her numerous nieces and nephews.
