Shannon Mansfield

LONDONDERRY Shannon Lee Mansfield, 37, of Londonderry, NH; formerly of Lowell, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, Saturday, August 8, 2009, after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma cancer.

Born July 31, 1972, in Lowell, she was a daughter of Mark and Linda Trudel, and attended the local schools.

She resided in Londonderry, New Hampshire. Prior to her illness, she was employed as a dental assistant and later worked as a bartender, at Dracut’s Mammoth Road Club, for many years, during which time she helped organize the Club’s annual Motorcycle Ride Fundraiser to support community charities. Shannon was a loving, caring, and dedicated mother, who was extremely involved in her children’s activities. She enjoyed creating canvas paintings, home decorating, and meeting and entertaining people.

Besides her parents, Mark and Linda, she is survived by three daughters, Ashley, Jaid, and Tayla; a sister and best friend, Tracy Desjardins and her husband, Steve; her nephews and niece, Timmy, Tyler, and Alexis; a grand nephew, Riley Desjardins; her maternal grandmother, Alice Winters; her loving companion, Christopher Deputat; her aunts and uncles, Richard Mansfield, who is also her godfather, and his wife, Barbara; Patricia Mansfield, Janet Murphy, who is also her Godmother, and her husband Michael; Sandra Winters, James Winters and his wife, Judy; Jerald Winters and his wife, Lauri; John Winters, JoAnn Haney and her husband, Richard; James Trudel and his wife, Ann; David Trudel and wife, Cindy; Virginia Morrissette and her husband Roland; Barbara Esposito, Steven Trudel and his wife, Lisa; Robert Trudel and his wife, Evelyn, and Tara Travers; many cousins and her dear friends from the Mammoth Road Club.

She was also the grand daughter of the late James V. Winters Sr., and a niece of the late Billy Mansfield. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS 4 UNTIL 8 P.M. ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 11. ON WEDNESDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 9 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816. HER FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT THE FUNERAL HOME AT 10 A.M.. BURIAL IN ST. MARY CEMETERY IN TEWKSBURY.
