Sara Jane Lomas
DRACUT Sara Jane Lomas, 34, of Dracut, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 6. She was the daughter of Fred E. Lomas of Dracut and Rosemary McCaffery of Sandwich.
Born May 8, 1984, in Melrose, she grew up in Lowell and attended the City Magnet School and graduated from Lowell High School. She continued her education at the University of Lowell, attaining an Associates Degree in Business.
Sara was an avid lover of hip hop music as well as a devoted dog lover, and Pitbull advocate. She also enjoyed writing poetry and was happiest when she was helping others. She would help anyone in need, without being asked. She will always be remembered as a bit of a daredevil who was always up for an adventure.
She worked as an office manager for Volta Oil Company as well as several other businesses.
In addition to her mom, Rosemary and her dad, Fred, she is survived by her brother, Michael Reilly and his wife, Angela and their family of Seneca Falls, NY; and her sister, Katherine Boegel and her husband, Adam, and their family of Sandwich. In addition, she is survived by her uncle, Howard Lomas and his family as well as her brother, Eric Lomas and his family, and her longtime partner, Matt Chronowski of Dracut.
She is also survived by her large extended family including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
