LOWELL Salvatore J. "Sammy" Lipomi, Jr., 44, of Lowell, died Friday, February 22, 2013, unexpectedly, at Lowell General Hospital - Saints Campus.
A son of Salvatore J. Lipomi, Sr. and Rafaela (Duarte) Lipomi, he was born April 26, 1968, in Lowell. A lifelong Lowell resident, he was raised and educated in the area. Mr. Lipomi enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, biking, fishing and playing the lottery.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend, Jeanette Park of Lowell; his children, Salvatore Lipomi III of Lowell, Krystal Lipomi of Boston, and Justin Lipomi and his wife, Holly, of New Hampshire; his brother, John Lipomi of Concord; his grandchildren, Aliciany Lipomi, Nevaeh Leslie and Jaela Leslie.
