Ruth Lorraine Popp
LOWELL Ruth Lorraine (White) Popp, 86, of Lowell, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Heritage Nursing Care Center after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease. She was the widow of the late William D. Popp who died in 1981.
Born June 22, 1927, in Leominster, she was a daughter of the late Henry White, and was educated in that area. She made her home in Lunenburg for over forty years before relocating to Lowell.
Mrs. Popp worked as a seamstress throughout her lifetime, and was an avid music lover, especially of Country Music. She was a simple quiet woman, keeping to herself, enjoying sewing.
She is survived by her children, Scott Popp of Lowell and Sandra Munyon of Gardner.
