Ruth Elinor O’Donnell
LOWELL Ruth Elinor O’Donnell, 80, a lifelong Lowell resident, died Sunday, April 12, 2009, at Saints Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late John J. and the late Esther (Crowley) O’Donnell.
Born October 12, 1928, in Lowell, she was educated in the local schools, graduating from Lowell High School. Ruth worked as a bookkeeping machine operator for L. G. Hanscom Air Force Base before her retirement.
A communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church, Ruth enjoyed socializing with friends, fashion and summers at Hampton Beach.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Mullin of Lowell; and several cousins. She was the sister of the late John Daniel O’Donnell and sister in law of the late George Mullin.
