Ruth Ann DePaulis

LOWELL      Ruth Ann (Mullen) DePaulis, 85, of Lowell, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston after a brief illness.   She was the widow of John DePaulis who died in 1988 after thirty-five years of marriage.

     A daughter of the late Michael Joseph Mullen and Catherine (Connelly) Mullen, she was born on June 28, 1932, in Tewksbury and was educated in the Tewksbury School System.

      She made her home in Lowell for most of her lifetime, where she raised her family.  She was a member of the former St. Peter’s Parish and Sacred Heart Parish.  She had worked as an electronics assembler for Qualitronics for many years before her retirement.

     Ruth enjoyed her large family, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also enjoyed dancing, especially line dancing at the Lowell Senior Center.  In addition, she loved going out to eat and day trips with Summer Place.

     She is survived by her children, John DePaulis and his wife, Laurie, of Nashua, NH, Lisa R. Smith and her husband, Joseph, of Tyngsboro, Richard ‘Rick’ DePaulis and Michael F. DePaulis both of Lowell, and Catherine T. Supernor and her husband, Donald, of Dracut; her grandchildren, Matthew DePaulis, Alecia Brangan, Stacey Braley, Randall DePaulis, Renee DePaulis-Savard, Alexandra DePaulis, Kallie Supernor, Kyle Supernor, and Corrina Braley; her great grandchildren, Henry J., Nathaniel, Emma, Jack, Angelina, Adriana, Antonio, Brooklyn, Audrey, Vanessa, Andy and Nya; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

       She was the sister of the late Michael "Joe"  Mullen, John Mullen, Fanchon Larson, Angela Smith, Thomas Mullen.

           YOU ARE INVITED TO HER VISITATION TUESDAY MORNING FROM 8 UNTIL 10 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL

 978-458-6816.  HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 30 GRAFTON ST., LOWELL AT 11 A.M..  BURIAL IN ST. PATRICK CEMETERY.   MEMORIALS IN HER NAME TO LOWELL SENIOR CENTER, 276 BROADWAY ST., LOWELL MA 01854.
