Roy A. McShane
LOWELL Roy A. McShane, 50, a longtime resident of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at his home, Wednesday, February 28, 2018. He was the beloved son of Dennis D. McShane and the late Cornelia M. (Altena) McShane who passed away in October 2017.
Born October 11, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, he moved to New England with his family as a baby, and was educated in the local schools, graduating from Lowell High School.
Roy enjoyed working on cars, and was a Volvo aficionado. He formerly was a truck driver, driving dump trucks and oil trucks. Then for more than ten years, he drove a School Bus for Trembly Motor Coach. Throughout his life, Roy was always an animal lover.
Besides his loving father, Dennis, he is survived by his sister, Sabrina McShane of Salem, NH; his uncles, William Altena of the Netherlands, Bernard McShane of Rockville, MD, Jerome McShane of Concord, CA, John McShane and his wife, Linda, of Riverside, IL, and Tom McShane of Skokie, IL; as well as many cousins and friends.
