Rosa Maria (Rosa) Cruz
LOWELL Rosa Maria (Rosa) Cruz, 64, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 2, 2015 at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus.
She was born November 9, 1950, in Isabella, Puerto Rico, and was a daughter of the late Diego Rosa and the late Esmerelda (Cruz) Cruz. Rosa was raised in Puerto Rico where she attended the area schools.
Rosa is survived by her children, Benjamin Garcia and his wife, Emile of Texas, Maria Albassan of New Bedford, MA, and William Cruz and his wife, Sue Harmon of Lowell; her ten grandchildren, Christopher, Brian, Brandon, Rosa, Elsa, Zuleyla, Ezequiel, Xavier, Steven, and Alexander; and her four great grandchildren, Leena, Henley, Sabastian, and Kristian. Rosa is also survived by her siblings, Anna Rosa and Luisa Rosa, of New York, Gladys Rosa of Lowell, and Dianna Rosa and Jose Luis Rosa of New York.
She was also the mother of the late Lisandro Garcia and the late Nicholas Cruz; and grandmother of the late William Cruz Jr.
