Ronald H. “Snookie” Malenfant
LOWELL Ronald H. “Snookie” Malenfant, 75, of Lowell, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014, at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness.
Born March 21, 1939, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Alfred and the late Rita M. (Provencher) Malenfant, and was educated in the local schools.
He made his lifelong home in Lowell, residing in the Highlands Section of the City. He enjoyed time spent with family, and was a jack of all trades who enjoyed working with his hands and fixing and building things. He was a former member of the Lowell Lodge of Elks, B.P.O.E. #87.
Mr. Malenfant worked for Corenco Corp, Prince Macaroni, and then for Americraft for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by his sons, Ronald J. Malenfant of Nashua, NH, Michael Malenfant of Nashua, NH, and John A. Malenfant of Lowell; his daughter, Tammy Mack of Lowell; his grandchildren, Ronald, John Albert, Alexander, Tyler, Callan and Kisandra; his brother, Gerry Malenfant and his wife, Donna, of Hull, MA, his sister Sandra "Tootsie" Malenfant; his uncle, Moe Provencher of Massachusetts, his sister in law, Georgette Malenfant of Keene, NH; his close friend, Dino DaSilva of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Robert ‘Bobby’ Malenfant.
