Roberto ‘Chino’ Rodriguez
LOWELL Roberto ‘Chino’ Rodriguez, 53, of Lowell, died unexpectedly, November 25, 2008, at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. For over fifteen years, he was the husband of the late Carmen T. (Colon-Rivera) Rodriguez who died in 2003.
A son of Alejandrino Rodriguez of Puerto Rico and Maria Rodriguez of Lowell, he was born January 21, 1955, in Salinas, Puerto Rico. He moved with his family to the Lowell area and was educated in the local schools. He worked for Joan Fabrics for fifteen years before working as a machine operator for Bradford Industries for over twenty years.
Chino enjoyed cars, taking trips to Foxwoods, was an avid Red Sox Fan, was always the life of the party whenever he was around and could always be counted on for lending a hand whenever he could.
In addition to his parents, Alejandrino and Maria, he is survived by a son, Alberto Rodriguez of Lowell; seven brothers and sisters, Junior, Raymond, Alex, Carmen, Francisca, Elia, and Abigail; and many nieces , nephews, and friends.
