Robert J. ‘Bobby’ Veillette
LOWELL Robert J. ‘Bobby’ Veillette, 63, of Lowell, passed away late Sunday, August 13, 2017, at Lowell General Hospital after a long illness.
Born August 19, 1953, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Joseph G. and the late Theresa (Levasseur) Veillette and grew up and was educated in the Lowell Schools.
Mr. Veillette served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Veillette had worked for the United States Post Office before working as a CAD Designer for several local firms including Interstate Container, Boutwell and Owens in Fitchburg, and Notini and Sons in Lowell.
He made his home in Lowell, and enjoyed fishing, guitars, cars, horse races, and old films.
His survivors include his life companion of twenty eight years, Janet Brunelle; his sons, Adam R. Veillette of Lowell, and Curtis J. Veillette of Lowell; his grand daughter, Autumn Sky Veillette of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also a brother of the late Rita, Lucille, Claire, Doris and Raymond.
