Robert E. Petersen
LOWELL Robert E. Petersen, 69, a resident of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
A son of the late Ernest A. Petersen and the late Lucille T. (Perron) Petersen, he was born March 1, 1949, in Lowell, and educated in the local schools, graduating from St. Joseph High School.
Mr. Petersen served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War from May of 1968 to January 1970.
For the past five years, he made his home in Lowell, and had worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail handler for more than thirty years prior to his retirement in 2009.
His survivors include his brother, Michael Petersen of Dracut, as well as his many friends throughout the Lowell area.
