Robert Albert Reno
LOWELL Robert Albert Reno, 74, of Lowell, died after a long illness Monday, February 11, 2013 at Northwood Nursing Home.
Born June 25, 1938, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Raymond Reno, and the late Adeliade (Veiga) Reno and attended the local area schools.
He resided in the Pawtucketville section of the city, and was a communicant of St. Rita's Church. He was employed as a Security Officer for many years for Lowell General Hospital before his retirement. Robert was a member of the SAC Club and the Centralville Social Club. He had many friends from several funeral homes and many friends from the former Acre Sports Pub. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and enjoyed traveling to Florida to watch them play the Patriots.
He is survived by his natural children, Joyce Martin of Chelmsford, Robert Reno Jr. of Lowell, Leo Reno of Lowell, Ruth Reno of Lowell, and Nancy Reno and her spouse, Kim of Chelmsford; a son in law, Mark Martin of Chelmsford; his adopted children, Sharon Cortez and her husband, John of Salem, NH, and James Kreimer and his wife, Joyce of Florida; his eight grandchildren, Dennis, Christopher, James, Stephanie, Alexandria, Joshua, Mark and Oliver; three great grandchildren, Gabriella, Ariana, and Makenzie; his brother, Richard Reno of Chelmsford.
