LOWELL Rita N. (Page) Mathews, 89, of Lowell died Monday, April 4, 2011, at Blaire House of Tewksbury. She was the wife of Frank Mathews.
A daughter of the late Thomas J. Page and the late Mary (Kenney) Page, she was born March 7, 1922, in Lowell, and educated in the Lowell Schools.
She was a lifelong Lowell resident, and worked as an assembler for Raytheon in South Lowell for many years. She also worked answering the phone at Frank's Towing with her husband, Frank until her retirement. In her younger days, she enjoyed going to the Commodore Ballroom. She also enjoyed traveling all over the World, especially spending her summers in Detroit, and her winters in Florida.
She is survived by her husband, Frank; and many loving cousins including, Eileen Dinneen, Virginia Kula, James Queenan, Colleen White, Terrance Queenan, Margaret Queenan, and Patricia Queenan.
She was also a sister of the late Thomas Page and the late Mary Wuest.
