RITA SILVA
LOWELL Rita C. (Beauregard) Silva, 83, a longtime Lowell resident, died Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Saints Medical Center. She was the widow of Manuel Silva, who passed away on October 1, 1986.
Born February 12, 1925, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Andrew, and the late Anna (Vallincourt) Beauregard, and she attended the local schools. She resided on Gorham Street, and was a communicant of Saint Rita's Church. She was employed as a spinner for Ames Textile for over 30 years, she also worked as an aid in a nursing home before her retirement. She was a member of the Community Family Club in Lowell. She enjoyed crafts, playing bingo, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by four children Claire J. and her husband Racie Smith, of Allenstown, NH, Donald M. Silva of Lowell, Manuel R. and his wife Theana Silva of Lowell, and Betty A. and her husband Juan Rosario of North Port, FL; Three brothers Donald and his wife Joan Beauregard of Lowell, William Beauregard of Hampstead, NH, and Richard and his wife Beverly Beauregard of Lowell, a sister Dorothy and her husband Roger Fitzgerald of Lakeland, FL. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Warren Beauregard and the late Theresa McGee.

You are invited to her Calling Hours 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Her Funeral will begin at 9 a.m. at the McDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL (978 OR 800) 458-6816. Her Funeral Mass will be offered at Holy Family Parish at St. Marie's Church at 10 a.m..  Burial in the Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery.
