"Loving Wife and Mother"
LOWELL Rita A. Rivera, 46, a lifelong Lowell resident, died Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus, after a long illness. For the past nineteen years, she was the beloved wife of Angel L. Rivera, whom she has shared her life with for twenty four years.
A daughter of Doris Roeschlaub of Lowell, and the late George Roeschlaub, she was born August 25, 1967, in Lowell, and graduated from the Greater Lowell Vocational High School.
She made her home in Centralville, and was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church.
In addition to her husband, Angel, she is survived by her daughter, Amanda Rivera; her son, Angel Rivera, Jr., her stepdaughter, Angelee Figueroa of Connecticut and her grandson, Jaiden Santiago, also of Connecticut. She came from a large family of siblings, and is also survived by many friends, including her best friend, Eileen Bellerose of Lowell; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was also a sister of the late Leona Roeschlaub and the late Dot Roeschlaub.
