World War II Veteran
LOWELL Ralph A. Wilson, 81, a lifelong Lowell resident, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at his Highlands residence. He was a son of the late Ralph A. and the late Frances (Kivlan) Wilson.
Born October 5, 1927, in Lowell, he was a graduate of St. Patrick’s Boys School and Keith Academy, Class of 1945, and the New England School of Art.
A veteran of World War II, he served with the United States Army 10th Constabulary Squadron during the occupation of Kitzengen, Germany. After his honorable discharge, he returned to his lifelong home in the Highlands Section of the City, where he was a communicant of St. Margaret’s Church.
Ralph was employed with the pre-press department of Courier Corporation in Forge Village, Westford for twenty eight years prior to his retirement.
Survivors include his Godson, Ted Dillon Jr. of Lowell, and his cousin Martha Quinn.
