Rachel A. Elliott
LOWELL Rachel A. (Nicholson) Elliott, 67, of Lowell, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at her Lowell home with her husband, Chester, at her side, after a long battle with cancer. They had celebrated their Forty Second Wedding Anniversary this past June.
Born November 6, 1942, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas Nicholson and the late Alice M. (Barsamian) Nicholson, and was educated in the Lowell School System.
She made her home in Lowell, and worked for Columbia Plastics on Tanner Street in Lowell for over ten years. She was a member of Ss. Vartanantz Armenian Church in Chelmsford, and enjoyed spending time with her husband and shopping.
In addition to her husband, Chester, she is survived by her step daughter, Susan Callery and her husband, Thomas, of Lowell; her grandchildren, Staci and Brianna Callery of Lowell; her brothers in law, Paul Elliott of Lowell and Frank Elliott and his wife, Linda, of Dracut; her sister in law, Annette Desmairas of Lowell; her best friend, David Welch of Lowell; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was also the sister of the late Veronica Bennett.
