Andrew L. Popoloski
DRACUT Andrew L. Popoloski, 76, of Dracut, formerly of Lowell, died unexpectedly, March 11, 2008 at the West Roxbury Veteran’s Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of Suzanne (Gagnon)(Kenney) Popoloski.
A son of the late Louis and the late Eva (Lachuck) Popoloski, he was born July 5, 1931, in Woburn, and was educated in that area. He served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was decorated with several medals, including the Purple Heart.
In 1970, he moved to Lowell, residing on Broadway Street before making his home in Dracut, and was a communicant of St. Margaret’s Church. He worked throughout the Lowell area as a mechanic before retiring. He enjoyed going to the movies, fishing, gardening, and dancing.
Besides his wife, Suzanne, he is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Popoloski of Lowell; two sons, Thomas Popoloski and his wife, Jeannie, of Londonderry, NH, and Clifford Popoloski and his wife, Marion, of Woburn; step children, Thomas Kenney and his wife, Deborah, of Pelham, NH, Kevin Kenney and his wife, Susan, of Salem, NH, and Angela Reyes and her husband, Saturnino, of Lowell; and many grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
