Phyllis Theresa Nobrega
LOWELL Phyllis Theresa (Pelletier) Nobrega, 86, of Lowell, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Lowell General Hospital, Main Campus. She was the beloved widow of the late Manuel ‘Chiefy’ Nobrega who died in 2007.
Born March 15, 1931, in Nashua, New Hampshire, she was a daughter of the late Louis and the late Stella Victoria (Zincavich) Pelletier, and was educated in Nashua, and moved to Lowell after her marriage to Manuel.
Phyllis was a gifted seamstress, specializing in needlepoint. More than anything else, she enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family, especially her late husband, Manuel, whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her son Manuel Joseph Nobrega and his wife, Sandra, of Tyngsboro; her grand daughter, Emily Nobrega and her fiancee, Brian Moore, of Enfield, CT; her sister, Louise Donald and her husband, Norman, of Chelmsford; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her family of friends, fellow residents and staff at D'Youville Senior Care where she resided during her final days.
She was also the mother of the late Linda Lee Balukevich and the grandmother of the late, Stasha Pacey.
