Peter Paul ‘Pete’ Garcia
LOWELL Peter Paul ‘Pete’ Garcia, 62, a lifelong Lowell resident, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at his home. He was a son of the late Peter and the late Louise E. (Baxter) Garcia.
Born July 28, 1954, in Lowell, he grew up in the local neighborhoods and attended St. Peter’s Grammar School, Butler Junior High School, and Lowell High School.
He made his lifelong home in Lowell, enjoyed time spent with family and friends, and also enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage, singing, playing the guitar, watching Baseball and Football games, and enjoyed time spent at Salisbury Beach.
Mr. Garcia worked for General Electric in Lynn for many years, and then worked as a subcontractor for General Electric throughout the region.
He is survived by his sisters, Sharon I Mellen of Lowell and Juanita A. Balsamo of Lowell; his longtime companion, Elizabeth DeMarco of Lowell and her children, Alicia LeDuc and Brian LeDuc; his nieces and nephews, Michelle Galloway and her husband, Mark, Jessica M. Garcia, and Domonika Rivera; his great nieces and great nephews, Sasha Claudio, Pedro Baez, Pierre Eno III, Mark Galloway, Corey Galloway, Orlando Semprit-Garcia, and Christian Robles; and his lifelong friends Leo Garcia and Marybeth Bue.
He was also the brother of the late Candace E. Garcia, uncle of the late Pierre Eno, and great uncle of the late Emily Candace Semprit-Garcia.
