Peter C. Dery
TYNGSBORO Peter C. Dery, 57, of Tyngsboro, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Saints Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the widower of the late Janice A. (Reed) Dery, who passed away in 2005.
A son of the late Loretta F. (Foley) Dery and the late Edward A. Dery, he was born September 9, 1952, in Lowell, and raised and educated in Lowell, attending the Lowell Schools. Before residing in Tyngsboro, he formerly made his home on Boynton Street in Lowell.
Before his illness, he worked in the construction field and was a Union Carpenter with Local 111 out of Lawrence. Peter enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and he also enjoyed his pets. He was an avid sportsman, and loved fishing and hunting, and loved to play pool with his friends. He also spent a lot of quality time with his brother, Edward, and close friend and brother in law, Joseph.
He is survived by his daughter, Shannon E. Green and her husband, Keith, of Hudson, NH; his grandchildren, Gunnar K. Green and Kiera K. Green, both of Hudson, NH; his brothers, Edward J. Dery and his wife, Jeanne, of Tyngsboro, William H. Dery and his wife, Monique, of Raymond, NH, Robert A. Dery and his wife, Judi, of Portland, ME, and Joseph A. Dery of Amesbury; his sister, Virginia R. Corsetti and her husband, Michael, of Vero Beach, FL; his sister in law, Kathi Guerriero and her husband, Joseph, of Tyngsboro; and many nieces and nephews including Jay Guerriero, Joseph Guerriero, Daniel Guerriero, and Maxine Guerriero.
YOU ARE INVITED TO HIS VISITATION 9 UNTIL 11 A.M. ON FRIDAY MORNING AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816. HIS FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 11 A.M.
