He loved spending time with his family, especially his two grand daughters, as well as spending time with his ‘family of friends’ at Long Meadow Golf Club. Mr. Keefe was an avid sports fan and remained close to his team mates from his days as a football player at Lowell High School, as well as with Coach Riddick. He also played collegiate football for the University of Georgia and golfed as a hobby.
Besides his wife, Maryanne, he is survived by two daughters, Sharon Keefe of Lowell and Kim Keefe and her companion, John Dixon, of Lowell; his grand daughters, Emma Brooks and Molly Brooks both of Lowell and his son in law, William Brooks of Lowell; his brother, James Keefe and his wife, Barbara, of Tewksbury; a brother in law, James Fitzsimmons and his wife, Theresa, of Lowell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
