Denis ‘Topo’ Osorio
LOWELL Denis ‘Topo’ Osorio 29, of Lowell, died unexpectedly, May 1, 2008 at Boston Medical Center, as a result of a gunshot wound.
Born March 24, 1979, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, he was a son of Miguel A. Osorio of Puerto Rico, and the late Maria Artache who died January 2008. He was raised in that area, and came to Lowell at the age of six. With his family, he lived in Lowell and Puerto Rico most of his lifetime, settling in Lowell for the past six years. He worked for Washington Inventory Services for the past six years.
He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Celtics, and the New England Patriots, and he also enjoyed playing basketball and video games, but most especially enjoyed spending time with his family, and was a devoted and dedicated father to his daughter, his princess, Aleydenise.
In addition to his father, he is survived by three children, Denis O. Osorio of Puerto Rico, Brianna of Lowell, and Aleydenise Osorio of Lowell; his grandparents, Carlos and Herminia (Ortiz) Artache of Puerto Rico; his fiancee, Rose I. Munoz of Lowell; his good friend, Victor M. Diaz of Providence, RI; and many many beloved friends.
Denis was the brother of the late Moises Cotto and John Carlos Tejeda who died August 26, 2004.
