PELHAM NH Norman R ‘Richie’ Jones, 77, of Pelham, NH, died peacefully, Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House, with his family by his side after a courageous four year battle against cancer.

A son of the late Leo and the late Ethel (Lingren) Jones, he was born July 2, 1934, in Lawrence, and moved to Salem, NH, at a young age, where he resided for several years before making his home in Pelham, NH, for the past forty years. He was also very proud of his home and property, as well as the entire Pelham New Hampshire community in which he lived.

Richie was a loving and devoted son, brother, brother in law, uncle, friend, and neighbor, and was extremely devoted to his father, his brother, Leo, and his sister, Diana, and her family.

Mr. Jones worked for American Totalizer at many race tracks throughout New England and even worked at the Kentucky Derby.
He is survived by his loving sister, Diana B. Caulfield and her husband, Edward ‘Bud’ Caulfield of Lowell; his nephews, Danny Caulfield and James Caulfield; his nieces, Linda Gagnon and Kathleen Caulfield; his grand nephew, Nicholas Caron; his grand niece, Olivia Caulfield; and many friends and neighbors.
