Nicole Renee ‘Kiki’ Slocomb
LOWELL Nicole Renee ‘Kiki’ Slocomb, 28, a lifelong Lowell resident, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, December 6, 2014. She was a daughter of Jerome P. Judd of Springfield and Alicia (Emmons) Slocomb of North Carolina.
She was born March 10, 1986, in Lowell and was educated locally, graduating from Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical High School.
Nicole made her lifelong home in Lowell, and worked as a receptionist for the Urology Department at Lahey Clinic. She played in a women’s Flag Football League and was also a gifted automotive mechanic. She participated in the Spartan Races, but especially enjoyed spending time with her son and her family, and also enjoyed working with her ‘work family’.
Her survivors include her son, Gregory Salas Jr. of Lawrence, her mother, Alicia Slocomb of Sanford, NC; her siblings, Nathaniel, Zachary, and Jocelyn Slocomb all of Sanford, NC; her father, Jerome P. Judd and his wife, Cathleen, of Springfield; her adoptive father, Paul Slocomb of Tewksbury; and her paternal grandparents, Judy Judd of Holyoke and William Judd and his wife, Kathy of Onset. She is also survived by her godmother, Michelle Kloppenburg; and her godfather Frank Slocomb, Jr.; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Malinda, William, and Alycia Kloppenburg all of Lowell
