Robert G. Mitchell
LOWELL Robert G. Mitchell, 76, a lifelong Lowell resident, died unexpectedly, Feb 21, 2008 at his his home. He was a son of the late Walter P. and the late Janet (Mack) Mitchell, and was educated in the local schools.
A longtime resident of the Belvidere Section of the City, he was a former membr of the Immaculate Conception Parish. He worked as a machine operator for Joan Fabrics prior to his retirement. He was also an avid Red Sox fan.
He is survived by a sister, Mary Denton and her husband, John, of Bradenton, Florida; several nieces and nephews including Paul R. Mitchell and his wife, Gail, of Lowell, Linda McAdams and her husband, Kenneth, of Billerica, and Kathleen Adams and her husband, Henry, of Derry, NH; a sister in law, Catherine L. Mitchell of Merrimac; and and several grand nieces and grand nephews. He was also the brother of the late Walter Mitchell, the late Paul Mitchell, and the late Ruth Labbe.
