Mildred A. Dyer
LOWELL       Mildred A. (Newell) Dyer, 86, of Westford, formerly of Lowell, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at Saints Medical Center.    She was the widow of the late Tyler E. Dyer Sr., who died in 1993.
        A daughter of the late Daniel W. and the late Mildred (Moran) Newell, she was born April 8, 1923, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools.
     She made her lifelong home in Lowell, until more recently residing with her daughter in Westford and was a communicant of the former Sacred Heart Parish.  Mildred enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her family, especially her grand children and great grandchildren. 
     She is survived by her daughter, Millie Nolet and her husband, Robert, of Westford; her son, Robert J. Dyer Sr., and his wife, Deborah, of Bedford, NH; her grandchildren, Bridget E. Dyer of Lowell, Daniel G. Dyer Jr., and his wife, Marian, of Pepperell, Darren Frawley of Dracut, Robert J. Dyer Jr., and his wife, Kimberly, of Groton, Tyler E. Dyer III and his wife, Cheryl, of Westford, Meghan M. Boyce of Lowell, Matthew W. Dyer of Bedford, NH, Robert A. Nolet Jr., and his wife, Stefani, of Merrimack, NH, Rebecca A. Nolet of Westford, and Ryan A. Nolet of Westford; and ten great grandchildren.  She was also a sister of Dennis Newell and his wife, Jan, Patricia McKenzie and her husband, Roger, Barbara Brodeaur and her husband, Ed, and was a sister in law of Cecilia ‘Buddy' Santos, Alice Newell, Jean Newell. She was a former mother in law to Joyce Dyer and Linda Dyer, and was also aunt to many nieces and nephews.
     She was also the mother of the late Tyler E. Dyer Jr. U.S.N. who passed away April 3, 1963 and the late Daniel Dyer who passed away October 15, 2007. She was predeceased by her brothers Harold, Daniel, Donald, John, and Bradford Newell, and her sisters Dorothy and Mary Rose Newell, and Shirley Wilson, and sister in law Mary Newell.
 

YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS 5 UNTIL 9 P.M. ON TUESDAY, MAY 26. 

ON WEDNESDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 10 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816. 

HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT ST. FRANCIS CHURCH, DRACUT  AT 11 A.M..
