Mildred Agnes Donohue
LOWELL Mildred Agnes Donohue, 95, of Lowell, died after a brief illness Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford.
Born October 13, 1913, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Thomas M., and the late Margaret (Lennon) Donohue, attended St. Peter's School, Keith Hall, and graduated from Regis College with a degree in Chemistry.
She resided in the Gorham Street area of Lowell, and was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church. She was employed as a Biochemist for over twenty years for Tewksbury State Hospital, and later for Framingham State Hospital for over ten years before her retirement.
She is survived by two nephews, James J. Donahue of Quincy, and Joseph R. Donohue and his wife Deirdre of Andover; five grand nieces and nephews, Katherine A. Donohue, Elizabeth C. Donohue, and James A. Donohue, all of Andover, Marianne Wakim and her husband Ramzi of Salem, NH, and Thomas Jackson and his wife Karen of Dracut; and her good friend, Mary O'Connor of Lowell.
She was also the sister of the late James J. Donohue, Helen V. Donohue, Elizabeth O'Connor, Thomas L. Donohue, John Donohue, Katherine Donohue, and Margaret Donohue; and aunt of the late Thomas R. Donohue, and Mary E. Donohue.
