“Beloved Husband and Father”
MALDEN, MA Michael V. Blankenship, 31, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Malden. He was the husband of Laura (Lamb) Blankenship, to whom he was married for the past 5 years.
A son of Jerry Ray Blankenship Sr. and the late Elena M. (Flanagan) Blankenship he was born July 26, 1984, in Glendale, AZ. He was raised and educted in Florida.
Mr. Blankenship was formerly employed as a dishwasher at the Doo Wop Diner and more recently worked as a drive through clerk at Dunkin Donuts. He was affectionately known to his friends as “White Mike” and “Gator”. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and collecting baseball cards, but most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his son.
In addition to his wife and his father, he is survived by a son, Michael Maurice Blankenship of Lowell, a brother Jerry Blankenship of Florida and many close friends. HIS FUNERAL WAS HELD PRIVATELY ON JULY 14 AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME
