"Well Known Former Semi Pro Football Player"
LOWELL Michael T. Prescott, 47, of Lowell, died unexpectedly at his home July 4, 2010. He was married to Tanya (Marcil) Prescott of Tewksbury.
Born June 1, 1963, in Lowell, he was the son of Carol (Nielsen) Prescott of Lowell and the late Robert Prescott. He was raised in Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School, Class of 1981. He attended Maine Central Preparatory School and the University of Lowell.
While at the University of Lowell, Michael played football, and also played Semi-pro football for the Marlboro Shamrocks for many years, and was an avid sports fan. He worked as a concrete finisher for many years and also worked as a part time bartender at the former J.J.’s Pub and the Woburn Sportsmans Club.
Besides his wife, Tanya, and his mother, Carol, he is survived by his loving daughter, Jan-Marie Prescott; his sister, Lisa Prescott of Lowell; his brother, Stephen Prescott and his wife, Bernadette, of St. Cloud, Florida; his God Mother, Denise Baker of Chelmsford; and several aunts, an uncle, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was also predeceased by his brother, Robert Prescott Jr.
