Michael D. Russo
BILLERICA Michael D. Russo,72, of Billerica, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Lifecare Center of the Merrimack Valley.
Born November 16, 1944, in Bayonne, New Jersey, he grew up and was educated in that area, graduating from Bayonne High School. He moved to Massachusetts in the 1980’s.
For many years, Michael owned and operated his own bakery in Woburn before working in the warehouse for Fulfillment America. He made his home in Billerica and loved coloring with his great grandchildren. His passion was baking and cooking, and he loved to prepare food for his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren, and especially with his dog, Duke.
He is survived by his granddaughters, Valene Hebert of Lowell and Shannon Hebert of Lowell; his great grand children, Christian Page, Kyle Page, and Savannah Page all of Lowell, and Justin Miranda of Lowell, and Audrina McLellan and Colton Dyment, as well as Annalyse, Ricky, and Rowan; his sister, Jennifer Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Shirley Hebert and grandfather of the late Gilbert Hebert. He was also the husband, and longtime companion of over 33 years of Gail (Simmonds) Crosby, who passed away just three days before his death.
